• I want to try diving. How should I start?

If you haven't tried snorkeling or an introductory dive and aren't sure if you'll feel comfortable in the ocean, we recommend starting with our "Try Scuba" (Introductory Diving) program.
However, if you're ready to get certified and start exploring the underwater beauty around the world, your first step is to enroll in the "Open Water Diver" course.

  • How do I book a diving course?

You can follow the registration process outlined on each course introduction page. Simply fill out the online registration form and pay the course deposit. Once you have confirmed the date, time, and number of participants with our instructors, your booking will be complete. After registration, you will officially begin your training progression.

  • Are there any specific requirements or considerations for joining a scuba diving course?

Anyone who is at least 12 years old and in good health is welcome to join.

Before starting the course, you must complete a "Diver Medical Statement". The medical conditions listed in this document may pose risks or danger during diving. For individuals with pre-existing or potential medical conditions mentioned, a medical evaluation and clearance from a physician are required to determine if it is safe to participate in diving activities.

  • I am nearsighted. Can I wear contact lenses while diving, or are there other options?

Yes, you can wear contact lenses while diving, or you can use a prescription mask. We provide rental masks with prescription lenses up to -9.0 (900 degrees).

For the Open Water Diver (OWD) course, we highly recommend using our prescription masks for skill practice. This prevents the risk of your contact lenses being washed away during underwater drills. Once you have completed the OWD course and received your certification, you may choose to wear either contact lenses or a prescription mask based on your personal preference.

  • Can I join a diving course if I don't know how to swim?

You only need basic swimming skills and a sense of comfort in the water. If you haven’t swam in a while, we recommend visiting a pool to get re-accustomed to the water before your course starts.

Before completing the course, you must be able to swim 200 meters (with no time limit or specific stroke requirements) OR swim 300 meters using a mask, snorkel, and fins. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate the ability to float or tread water for 10 minutes.

Don’t worry — our instructors will support and assist you in reaching these goals during the training process!
